What can I say about Chicago? It's a sanitized New York--the sidewalks are clean, it's not as crowded, there aren't too many taxis, there are no street performers or crazies or homeless people. I didn't get a chance to see any parks or all of Chicago since we only spent a day there (my cousin lives an hour away in the suburbs).
Of course we had to have Chicago-style pizza. We ate at Gino's East Pizza, one of the popular pizza restaurants. First we had the thin crust bbq chicken pizza and it was yuuuummy in my tummy.
Then after we tried the deep dish pizza, which had way too much cheese and made me nauseous just looking at it.
The entire restaurant had writing everywhere, with people leaving their signatures and love notes. I wrote all our names on the wall. Maybe if I come back in a couple years the writing will still be there...or maybe some a-hole will write over it.

After stuffing ourselves, we walked in the chilly wind to check out other parts of the city.

It was St. Patrick's Day weekend so the river was dyed green.

This is my lovely cousin, Valen. He's three years old and is the most hyper kid I know. He was getting cold we stopped into Macy's and my sister bought him a hat. I miss him already.
