Every now and then, I'd look at the pictures of the orphans that I met. I smile, I get sad, and I'm hopeful all at once. I smile because the kids are so full of spirit and life despite their dire circumstances. I get sad because some of them will never have a family to love them. I'm hopeful because someone will adopt one of these kids and give them a chance of having a better future.

Orphanage in Vietnam
One purpose of my trip to Vietnam was to conduct primary research for my Capstone Project, which is the final paper that I need to write in order to receive my Master's. (And I better pass because I don't want to pay another $5,000 in tuition just to write a friggin' paper.) Since I've been back, I started writing my paper (50 page minimum requirement), but I have a long way to go. Most of the time I stare blankly at my screen, get distracted by Gmail Chat, or go outside to enjoy the sunny skies.
