My boyfriend and I were in Anguilla last November for his friends' wedding and fell in love with the island for its near-empty beaches, turquoise warm waters, friendly locals and finger lickin' BBQ ribs. We decided to go again in February to break up the winter and, coincidentally, to celebrate my new job.
Last time we stayed at CuisinArt in Rendevous Bay. This time we opted for Blue Water Beach Apartments in Shoal Bay East. While CuisinArt had a restaurant, pool and more resort feel to it, Blue Water had only the rooms--but that's all you really need when the beach is a few steps away from your door.

Lunch at Trattoria T ramonto. They make a delicious bolognese.
Lunch at Jacala.
Ken, the man who makes the best ribs on the island.
We bought oxtail stew and wraps from Jazzy.
