Bronx Zoo

Yesterday I went to the Bronx Zoo with my friend and her two children. I was most excited to see the red panda since I couldn't see it at the DC zoo.

Eeeee! (That's me screaming in excitement.) Look how cute it is! I don't know why it's called a red panda since its fur is more of an orange color and it it looks more like a raccoon.

Here it is acting all shy after I snapped pictures of it.

The tiger had its back turned to us...he did it on purpose...

Polar bear!

This is a mandrill, which is closely related to the baboon. But notice that his butt is not hairless like a baboon's. No wonder he looks so angry.

We spent most of the time watching the gorillas.

Gorillas are Asian. Do you know how I know? Because they squat.

The big guy.

He was eating and staring at us. He was probably imagining how we would taste.

Silly- Pandas are related to raccoons not bears! Watch some Animal Planet every once in awhile
