I'm no longer living in Queens with the Creepy Guy and Snorting Girl. I'm now in the Bronx, staying at a friend's place with her two children, my home away from home. The commute takes about 45 minutes to an hour to get into the city so I'm usually semi-napping the whole time.
I have until mid-June to find a job or else I'm going back to California for good (I'm going back for my sister's graduation anyways.) In the meantime, I'm enjoying the sights, sounds, and tasty foods of New York.
Magnolia trees were in bloom in April. My friend's block has giant, beautiful trees like the one above. Pebbles, the fat ass dog with the small head, lives there and barks at me every time.
When the weather is nice, I walk along the Hudson.
Sheep Meadow at Central Park was packed last week. It was as if all of these people had been hibernating and waiting for spring to come. Lots of hot, shirtless dudes...who are unfortunately gay.
My friend's Maltese, Zoey. I'm dogsitting her right now while my friends are in Miami. Zoey eats her own poop.
I went to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden to see all the spring flowers.
The Cherry Blossom Esplanade is one of my favorite places to walk...and to nap under. Sometimes I think I have a mild form of narcolepsy. Visitors aren't allowed to put down blankets on the grass so I had to lie on the grass and dirt, leaving dirt stains on my back.
Since Bryant Park is right across from my school building (I go there to use the internet during the weekday), I often sit around and people watch.

Sounds like you are having lots of fun but how are the jobs looking? I need to know where my next adventure visiting you will be... :)
