That was the most exciting part of my day. I think Paris ruined every European city for me because I found Geneva to be eh. The Jet d'eau is supposed to be the city's famous landmark but just look at it--it's just a large fountain. Reminded me of a bursting fire hydrant.
Watch stores are everywhere. I saw a few places that sell Swiss Army knives but was disappointed in the lack of chocolate stores. I didn't see any Lindt, Toblerone or Nestle stores. It's like going to NYC and not seeing pizza places.
I walked along the lake for awhile. The further away I went from the touristy area, the less people were around me.
The Flower Clock is another "famous" tourist attraction.
It seems like every European city has an old town. A street in Geneva's Old Town.
This mosaic depicts Julius Caesar, who came to Geneva in 58 B.C.
St. Pierre Cathedral.
Place du Bourg, a square in Old Town.
Bastions Park has giant chess and checker games.
I used to be the checkers queen in 4th grade.
