So I make my way up to the Great Lawn, which is the center of the park, to obtain the tickets and somehow get completely lost. I had to flag down a passing rollerblader who was nice enough to point me in the right direction, but only it was the wrong direction. I eventually spotted the outdoor theater and by the time I reached the box office, I was sweaty and tired. Hmmmm...why are the doors closed? It's past 1:00pm and website said that the staff hands out tickets at 1pm. I call my cousin to get her to provide me with a phone number for the theater. What?! The theater is closed on Mondays?! And I should line up no later than 8am to get the tickets?! Oh hell no! Damn me for not reading the website completely! Oh well, at least now I know where the theater is.

Turtle Pond, home to many cute turtles who will grow up to be ninjas.

Belvedere Castle towering above Turtle Pond. Mr. Belvedere used to live there. Oh how I miss that show...

Cleopatra's Needle/The Obelisk in Central Park, erected in 1500 BC from Egypt and given to the U.S. in 1881.

"Ugh, my roomie farted and now I need fresh air!"

"Oh wow, I can't even stand my own farts!"
I passed by a pet store on the way to the park. There were these adorable toy dogs in plastic bins that would stick their mouth through the ventilation holes and lick your fingers, even though the signs prohibits people from touching the dogs. That's like putting chocolate cake in front of a fat kid and telling him not to eat it.

I'm starting to get worried about you Miss Agnes. Ninja turtles and Mr. Belvedere in one blog?? I think (hope) it's the humidity that is messing with your head! You do make me laugh though. tee-hee! The pizza place you need to check out is Di Fara on J Street in Brooklyn (hopefully the street is right-the show has already been wrong about one location) It is supposed to be the best pizza in NY. Send me pictures and let me know!! :)
