I have class every Saturday from 9am-3pm and have a one hour lunch break. I always hang out at Bryant Park and people watch. Usually I see people talking to themselves, asking for money, or sleeping on the grass.

Central Park had a dog fair on Saturday. Of course I was there to find English Bulldogs but I went toward the end of the fair and I didn't see any :(

I was waiting for my friend on the Upper West Side and found a sitting area in the middle of the street. By the way, it was my first time to the UWS and I was dressed like a bum compared to the people in their suits and dresses.

On Sunday there was a CultureFest held at Battery Park. There were a few booths representing different cultures, but for the most part, all the other booths were from museums, zoos, conservancies, and musical performance groups.

One of the performances at CultureFest. The man and woman were gettin' it on! on stage.

A Tibetan woman weaving a rug.

The pilgrim's boat just landed.

After the CultureFest, I hung out at Bowling Green Park. I can hang out by myself at the park any day. It's the best time to clear my head and to reflect on life. I'm still trying to figure out what this life is all about...

I ended my Sunday night cooking with my friends (actually, my friend did all the cooking and she's awesome!) and baking banana bread. The banana bread was soooooo party-in-my-mouth good! One of my favorite things to do is to hang out with friends and have great conversations. I'm really thankful to have these girls as my friends. My experience in NY wouldn't be what it is without them.

You better have been walking around with the scarf that OCVCD gave you wrapped around your neck! :)
