I had several friends from California who happened to be here on the same weekend so we went to a bar on Saturday. One of my friends did some pre-partying and was knocked out on the couch. We covered her with all our jackets and even jumped on her but she didn't wake up.
On Sunday we walked around the Village and went to Rice to Riches, a store specializing in rice pudding. Hmmmm, how exciting can rice pudding be, you ask? Damn exciting! They offer flavors with kick ass names like Take Me to Tiramisu, Chocolate Chip Flirt, and Hazelnut Chocolate & Bear Hug. In celebration of the holidays, I had Secret Life of Pumpkin. The rice pudding is served in nice tupperware-like bowls with lids. The container was so nice and reusable, I took it home! As for the taste, the pudding is filling and rich and tasted exactly like pumpkin pie (without the crust). I wanted to hold the bowl up to my face and lick every morsel...
