Who Knew I Love to Karaoke?

My coworkers and I went out to celebrate a couple successful campaigns that we worked on (I didn't do that much work, but whatever, they invited me out anyways). After stuffing our faces at a nearby bar & grill by Herald Square, we walked over to iBop, one of the many Korean-owned karaoke places on the block. We walked up two flights of stairs to what looked like a shady meth-producing apartment and entered a quaint, colorful room. The man at the counter led us to our room, which looked like Rubik's Cube on drugs.

There were about 10 people in the room and we all took turns singing solo, duets or as one big group. The sign on the wall says no jumping or tapping but the disco ball and strobe lights brought the performer out in each of us. I sang Gwen Stefani's Hollaback Girls and Pussycat Dolls' Don't Cha with my crazy (in a good way) office mate. Sure I sounded like crap, but everyone was singing along so they didn't notice. There were several songs that my coworkers sang that I had noooo clue what they were. At one point they sang a song from Chicago and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Strange, but entertaining, I felt like I was at a musical. Anyways, I had a great time.

BYOB...also CYOCOYPSD (Clean Your Own Crap Or You Pay Sixty Dollars)

Yogi the Boston Terrier. He's not as cute as an English Bulldog, but nonetheless, he's cute! The owners treat him like a human kid. There was a heater in front of Yogi to keep him warm. Don't you want to snuggle with him?!
